Neil Diamond's first album of new songs for......too long.
Apart from the highly original title(well, Leonard did set a precedent with T.N.S.), it's 14 songs which bear witness to the songwriting talent of the Brooklyn boy.
This is a great album....my favourites being "Hell Yeah", "Delirious Love", "Face Me" and "Evermore".
Rick Rubin produced the album, a good sign in itself, and the stripped-down acoustic guitar-based setting offers Neil Diamond a wealth of emotional territory to explore, and he does just that.

"I'm On To You" and "What's It Gonna Be" are great too.

Oh, and another thing,
The 14th song from "12 Songs" is a version of "Delirious Love", with the great Brian Wilson on backing vocals. This is a real belter!
