I also enjoyed him talking about how form is an opportunity to go deeper. I have thought that too when I have read some poetry that to me seems to just be prose strewn down the page. He said a lot of interesting things as always.
The thing about us living in a time of belligerent opinions and people decide what association they will have with you based on them is a good point also. It's something I've noticed but never would have been able to state that clearly.
Oh, wow. It just started snowing here! That's pretty damn neat to be listening to Leonard Cohen and staring out the window and have it start snowing. It doesn't snow much here. When it does, I'm usually not watching as it begins. But listening to Leonard pontificate as it snows is something that I'm now grateful

for.
