< * well, here we go, again, with those trusted French phrases * >

Au contraire, Martine Hyacinthine :D !

I'll miss you!

In fact!

~ or ~

Perhaps, I should put that in more recognizable form  ~

In fact!

I'll miss you!

:D

< * who knows ~ I may *already* be the former and you the new  ~ in Vincent's heart ~ but that doesn't mean you and I can't still be friends :) ~ relationships are such *personal* things. it's so important that those decisions and choices be made for the right reasons :D ~ as I've already suggested in other ways, if it's necessary to compete for a man's attention, having it would have little meaning  ~ I *would* like and appreciate the respect of proper, advance notification, on this other matter, though ~ I wouldn't want what we did have together [whatever that is  ] to be sullied * >

See you on Monday, Martine Hyacinthine :D !

< and aren't *you* glad we got this settled before the weekend  ~ if Vincent should send Sirus around for you, please first tell them I said hello :D ~ and, then, please ask Vincent to call me, but tell him not to fear the call  ~ thanks :) * >

<* raises questioning eyebrow at Elizabeth *>

Did Sirus give you the keys
to the drinks cabinet, hmm?

Martine!
you have managed
in one post
to ruin months
of gentle courtship...

Vincent ~

Hello...
what are you
doing here?

The last time I saw you
you wandered off
looking for an ashtray :? ...

did you find one?

No, of course not...
you know
I never drink

to that point...

< *have you forgotten so soon  ? * >

Hi Ania, I really liked this one!

I don't know if it was your intention but when I read it, it sounded like it was Myra's excitement or lust perhaps trying to convince her conscience to stay.

I love the way the single letters leave the reader wondering, thinking out what this poem really is about for themselves. A brilliant detail! To me, J is her husband and L and T her kids. C won't touch her because L and T exists.

I'm glad she didn't stay :)

Thank you for a wonderful reading!

thanks vegard.
she didnt stay.
no children were involved. nor marriage. a commitment, yes.
thats why she didnt stay.
what a shame in hindsight.
really, it is.
one of those things that will never come her way again.
she should have stayed.
today, if it all happened today, she would.
shed stay.

Well, after reading "She Din't Stay" I noted Ania's name, and read this one also. Ania, you're killing me  I like this way of poetry, which is actually some kind of confessional, personal prose. (That's why my favourite LC book is Death of a Lady'a Man.) I got so interested that I followed your www link, and then I was reminded on that great beauty, your photo work "Paer Thin Hotel". You're great artist.
