Vince understands, Martine  ~ it's one of those proverbial, you know, that's all that matters :o .
May I call you Hyacinthine :D ?

< * in the meantime, I bow to you, for your genuine concern on Vince's behalf, you're such a dear :o ~ and commend you on your spacing 8) and bringing out the brigade in the middle of the night like this  * >

Hi Martine :D ~
I wouldn't want to be fastend to the back end of a car.
We already worked through that one  ~ perhaps, you were already on holiday, tied to the back of a boat, maybe... [juuuuuuust teasing, Hyacinthine  ].
Are you scared Lizzy?
Terrified. Beyond measure. Hyacinthine ~ I think I may need your help on this one  .
Ummm, well ok then, but I don't undertand why you'd want to. :?

You'd have to have seen the program  .
Is there something special you'd like me to call you?

Yes ~ Lizzy :D .

I'm not sure what this is about. Is it in code?
Yes ~ But, you cannot have missed a single step or you simply will not get it.
Lizzy, if things turn bad with you and Vince, do you want me to help bail you out?
On second thought, I may prefer to go this alone. You could be more problematical than helpful  . That prose-poem hanging up near the ceiling here seems to have addressed that issue... "don't feel answerable to your friends or family or the next door neighbour or the milkman . . . and let the rest of the world go on and live their own lives. and make them face you living yours" . Nonetheless, thank you for your kind offer :D . You may still want to check with Vincent, of course, and see if he needs you in his camp  . So far, we're still on white-flag basis; however, one never knows... with your input, things could change  .

Till later, my dear,
Lizzy :D

Lizzy, do these emoticons >    mean that you won't be answering Vince back?
My dear friend, Hyacinthine ~

No, that doesn't mean that I won't be answering Vincent back.
That means I already have answered Vincent back.

Sometimes,
when someone is searching
for the truth
the deeper truth
as Vincent is suggesting
It's better to just ~ ~
and return...
into one's private world  .

So, you see,
my dear friend,
Hyacinthine
there's no crushing
to be done...
I'm merely winking
and walking...
away  .

Your equally dear friend,
Lizzy

 Martine, my Hyacinthine, there you go, again  ~ you poor, helpless instigator you, unable to control those irresistable urges  ~ as for my thought form... think French :) , not that you already haven't, of course  . Cross purposes must always be kept in mind, yes  ?

Meanwhile, I'm certain Vincent appreciates your 'mothering' urges  .

Yours in protective custody,
Detained on charges of abuse and neglect,

Okay, Martine ~ Being the woman I am, I accept full responsibility for the error of my ways  [in case there really is genuine misunderstanding here  ].

Since you also seem to be on the side of the dusky part of daylight, feigned or otherwise  , with regard to this, I will clarify for you, and Vincent, if he's truly lacking understanding on this. Taking it from the beginning:

In French [unless I'm remembering incorrectly, which would mean I should never have referenced the language], the adjectives follow rather than precede the noun, as they do in English.

It is important to note that I said "rare" ~ not "rarely."

Hence, my dear...
Vincent ~

reading your words...

a pleasure

rare

... translates to
Vincent ~

reading your words...

a rare

pleasure
However, in that my intent was to emphasize rare, I left the word to the very last, so it stood out, so it was the last thing one particular reader might be left with in his mind.

However, the nature of that leaving was not as anticipated and, in fact, quite the opposite  .

So, now, Ms. Martine Hyacinthine, may I be excused  ? I have serious work to do.

Geesh  .

Thanking you in advance,
Elizabeth

Dear Martine Hyacinthine ~
Alright then. I don't know why you've turned on me, I was only trying to help clear things up with you and Vince.

You've reminded me of Beryl, a horrible girl . . .
Well, this isn't the first time, nor will it be the last. You're in good company, in fact  .

However, that said, I'm sorry to have wrought back into your conscious memory such terribly painful memories :( . I believe you've mentioned this wretched child, Beryl, in the past. Yes ~ I'm absolutely certain you have ~ such a spelling is unforgettable. What my memory lacks is the context of your reference. Perhaps, it's the very same details, but as details go... well, they're details, y'know.
I bet Vince likes me best over you now, is that why you're mad at me?
Mad at you!?! Au contraire... you've provided me the golden opportunity of clarification. Always a blessing, Ms. Martine Hyacinthine 8) .

Vincent likes you best. Perhaps. However, my perspective on issues of that nature has always been and will forever remain... if he prefers another, why would I want him to be with me? That's certainly a set-up for all manner of unnecessary emotions  . Simple, isn't it :D ?

Conclusion: Vincent is a man of his own choices. Elizabeth is a woman of her own choices. Martine is a woman of her own choices. Time will tell :D .

In the meantime, Martine Hyacinthine, I've never ~ yes, that would be never ~ 'fought', literally or otherwise ~ over a man... nor will I be starting now  .

Peace and contentment to you,
Martine Hyacinthine,
Elizabeth :D

< * I sure am glad we got this settled before the weekend  * >
