wanting

Vulnerable and weak
white that darkens the meek
surprise that is bleak
and wanting

Dominant and wise
grey that loosens the ties
embrace and chastise
the wanting

Welcome and muse
landscapes deficient of blues
lie down and then choose
your wanting

I know it isn't what you had in mind.

But in my mind, it is a mixture of playing kittens and life, the universe, and everything.

Only not in a Douglas Adams kind of way...

I think I'll just shut up, shall I?

It's the sort of poem that can be interpreted in many ways....

If it's a litter of kittens ..so be it

If it's not a litter of kittens then it's something else

maybe everything but without the universe bit
