i was visiting my favourite cd-store agian today... and while searching for some cd's... i saw he had a "new" Cohen cd in the store..
or atleast.. the cover didn't look familair

Leonard Cohen - So Long Marianne

i already had that cd in my collection... but .. with another cover

does anyone know about this ? that there are 2 different covers for this cd

both serial number are the same..
tracklists are the same

and both are from Columbia

BUT.... 1 says "1989 sony music entertainment inc."
and the other says "1995 sony music entertainment inc."

the 1995 one is a White front cover.. with cohen on it with his hand under his chin

and the 1989 one has a black front cover with a concert pic from cohen with a guitar and a microphone (standing in front of him)

so.. can someone please tell me what the difference is ?

i did buy the cd.... so.. if it's something really weird.. i can scan the covers and stuff

There you will see FOUR different covers of this same compilation (and there might be more!).
Local CBS/Sony companies have made these, I guess.
