Welcome - but I'm afraid we have to change your nickname.

We already have "Partisan", and having "The Partisan" would only result in confusion. Therefore I have changed your nickname to "The 2nd Partisan". You may also choose another Forum name if you want.

[Tee-Hee ~ He'll love that  , someone having to take a new name. Not that they shouldn't have to, of course; just that he'll love it  .]

Welcome, 2nd Partisan [Partisan II?] :D !

Well, i must say i would not have been confused. Does this mean my name must be changed too? We must try to be consistent.

Hello, I'm Stefan, I'm from Holland and this is my first message here!
I like Leonard Cohens' music for a few years now...
My dad had a tape and I loved it... Now I got a lot of albums myself. Mostly on vinyl.
I think 10 new songs is my favourite and also Songs from a room and his Greatest Hits (the yellow one) and The Future.
I'm not so old, but I'm sure that there are more young fans here! Anyway, age is not that important when it comes to enjoying music!

So I hope I'll have much fun posting here!
Greetings, Stefan 8) , or Cohen Kid! :D
A sip of wine, a cigarette
And then it's time to go
I tidied up the kitchenette
I tuned the old banjo
-10 new songs, Boogie Street

Hi Stefan Cohen Kid ~

Welcome to the Forum :D , and I too hope you have much fun posting here a lot.
I think 10 new songs is my favourite
Not only do I love seeing this assessment :D , but I love it even more seeing it from someone your approximate age 8) ! This, particular album has gotten more than its share of grief from longtime Cohen appreciators. Speaking of vinyl, there's a thread you'll enjoy regarding just that ~ and it's in this section, right below this one "'Songs of Leonard Cohen' - on vinyl." Check it out 8) ~ a very cool turntable there :D .

Hi Cohen Kid ~

It's not that it was across-the-board, unpopular with fans. Please don't misunderstand me on that. However, it was a departure that a number of fans found questionable, and some were naming it their least favourite. I agree with what you've said about it, and there are many here, who would, too [even if not their favourite, the specific comments you've made about it]. I bought it on cd, as well as on vinyl, but I haven't played the vinyl, yet; and won't until/if/when I get a quality turntable and needle.

You'll enjoy the thread I'm referring to :) .

 John the Shorts ~

You missed the beginning and interim on L-Tosh, as you weren't back, yet. It originally read Lizzytosh, but due to the easy confusion   , it was shortened to L-Tosh.  Any guesses who might be the one behind the L-Tosh Grants?
