I walked smiling
after your words;
some men looked at me,
wanting to talk to me,
but I cared not
because my smile was for the thought
of you.
I wonder now
about love, and how to be in love
and the line between them.
I love you,
yes,
I love you;
you make me smile,
laugh;
you make me happy.
And I do not want to cross
the thin line
that would carry me in bondage
to you.

The thin line
your answer
It is nice for me to put the answe to the thin line here:
That line appears,
and stirs our fears.
It's clear to see
for you AND ME.
The nearer we come,
the more the fun.
But closer is scary,
our hearts must be wary.
Be careful! We'll trip.
Step back! Don't slip.
If that line is crossed,
so much can be lost.
But, eyes closed, I wander,
becoming ever fonder.
Preferring to risk a fall,
over having no line at all.
