I've recently read in MacLean's Magazine (Canada) about Cohen's financial difficulties. Google MacLean's and search for Cohen - there are three articles.
I'm in Massachusetts and would like to start a serious, well run, fund raiser for him. Obviously this is a high logistics undertaking. Any Bankers, fundraisers, or other financial types interested?

A Fund Raiser for LC
Hmmmm . . .
The thought is nice, but Cohen is going to tour and put out a new CD soon. Some money will come in. I don't think he's going to be going to the poor house.
It's terrible what happened to his retirement savings and I hope that he gets justice (or better yet, $$$$$$$) in court, but I don't think that he is in let's-pass-a-hat-around straights.
For someone who lives a frugally as he does, $150,000 should tide him over--especially since he isn't going to be without new income. I feel bad for him but, shit, I feel bad for us, too.
