Jarkko ~

When's Bee going to come out of her little, white box with the red "x" on the door?

As others join, can you please keep moving her photo down, so she'll stay cozied up next to Leonard with that favourite hat of hers :P ?

Bee ~ Open the door, will ya? That is not what Jarkko had in mind for the photo most publicly pleasing.

Look again Lizzy, It's very obvious :) Bee's photo is placed above Leonard in his hat, so it could appear that she is sitting on the hat, well....almost, if you use a little poetic or artistic licence

Yes, dear Lizzy- use a bit of imagination about proportions-as Margaret pointed out-artistically! Hi, Margaret, is so nice meeting you! :D
Lizzz- what about the avatar-you and me-we don't have it, isn't it about time to have one? To upgrade ourselves a bit? I tried to do it several times, but filed-the avatar library was empty. I guess I must ask Tchoco about it-she always finds funny things.

jarkko,

i'd love to join, but most of the pictures of me that i have on my computer are not pictures that i think would be appropriate, i.e. i look like some demon from outer space. i know you've probably still got the photos somewhere of the new york event, and i know there's at least one or two of myself. if i joined, would it be a bother for you to post one of those pictures of me? let me know. i'll go ahead and join right now. thanks a lot, jarkko!

Hey  , Bee and Margaret, when I'm at 50% these days, I call it a good day. Obviously, this was a 25'er, since I was the one who brought the hat up to begin with  !

But, it gets worse  . Last night, sitting and reading the newspaper at the restaurant where I work my second job, it came to me  ~ Aha! That's what Bee meant ~ she's sitting [maybe just virtually] on the hat that she'd just had on, prior to the photo being taken  . When I got home, I tried to get on the computer ~ three times ~ to tell you, and it kept kicking me off, and giving me Page Cannot Be Displayed for this site, as well as Yahoo. I finally gave up and went to bed. Perhaps, it was my computer's attempt to keep me from embarrassing myself further. But, not to worry, I don't need its help ~ I can do it all by myself, this morning  .

Of COURSE :!: :!: :!: Leonard's hat!!!

   Duh-Duh-Double Duh   !

I just revisited and can now see it perfectly :D . The angles are even right.

Avatars ~ I only very recently came across one I'd consider. However, two problems ~ It's a solid-grey cat with a black hat and black goggles perched on its head; and it's not on computer, but from one of those tear-off calendar sheets. So, first, I'd need to get it scanned somewhere, and then I'd have to hope hard that anything about this cat's appearance could be distinguished in avatar size.

The accompanying blurb says: "Smokey lives with seven other male house cats in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, but he's definitely a free spirit. He likes to zoom around the Slavenwhites' yard on a motorbike inside the rider's jacket, then get in the shower to cool down."

I once had a cat named Smokey [he was black], but I love this photo! Smokey's serious, determined expression on his face and in his eyes is definitely that of a cat on a mission  . [When you're in competition with that many others, I guess you just gotta go all out  .]

Linda Perthside? You've been doing a lot of mug talking lately . You meet the prereqs. We also need to be able to recognize you coming down the aisle ~ lest an imposter slip into that hallowed position.
If you refer to linda_lakeside, I'm on vacation in Borneo just now. However, I'll certainly give it some thought. As a matter of fact, I've already given it some thought.

I'd like to nominate Laurie. She has the prerequisites. Being poetic and all. Plus, the horns would definitely add a certain appeal, for some. Perhaps Laurie would like to slip into 'that hallowed position', if not the gallery itself.

Ahhh, yes.. there's our good friend Jason, whom we were all thrilled with at the NY event... he and Sean, the youngest members amongst us (as far as I know) and between them, whom we hope will host the 2008 (or 2010) Los Angeles event.... :--). Sean.. you said you would consider it, because by then you'd be old enough.. remember.. ? .. that night on the back stairs. Wens and Henning are witnesses. I clearly remember it, despite all the beer.

So maybe we have an LA event at some point in our future??!!
