The moon tonight is looking pretty old
I hope its still around when I turn 50

Hi Tom,
You've seen it for a number of years, I presume. It's a safe presumption
that it will still be around when you are fifty, based on consistent
past precedent. I wonder, though, how you will see the moon
when you are fifty. Will you see it as "looking pretty old," or otherwise? Also, there
is a tendency to externalize aging and mortality. Just some thoughts,
stimulated by your thoughts.
