Not anti semitism at all

I wanted to describe how some has hated jews
and Christians and people from other religions

The intention of the text was to describe the tone of anti-semitism which are conveying hatred. I removed it because the aim was to open the eyes of anti-semitism, and the hatred which it the displays. Instead I was described as the hateful one. I know persons who are jewish which I love and respect. They have suffered teribble pain in their life because of antisemtism. I Wanted to write a lyric that described in the same way what they are up against.


My hope is that no religious or non-religious group ever again in history will experience to be killed as we have seen in the last century.

When Cohen wrote a book called flowers for hitler, I dont think he applauded the man at all, and when Cohen sings :wild as any freedom loving racist, I applaud the action of the chief" I dont think he is a racist. Cohen faced the horror of second world wars antisemitism on the terrifying concrete level, and had to live with that fact.

peter, it was not clear to me that you were simply attempting to unveal the antisemitisim for all its uglyness, and that is why i took your poem as your own personal statement, much in shock. it puzzled me how a cohenist could be guilty of such feelings, but now that i understand your intentions i am much relieved and appreciate it for what it was intended to be. thanks for the clearification.

Actually, I had already discounted your poem as a typing error. I have just returned from Copenhagen and I was reminded of one of the facilities I admire there. Unlike English railway which, when not being blown up, is useless for taking cycles, in Denmark it is easy to trasport that way.

I had presumed you were writing about "Bike on the Train".
