I came across that link almost two weeks ago. (As one other person on this forum can testify). I did not post it because I was unsure if it was Leonard's Lynch. I could not see Leonard's Lynch as "raising" the little lama Gesar Mukpo, as the letter states. There is a Kelley Lynch who has resided in India and was co-author of a book on Bangladesh. So it might be her and not Leonard's Lynch.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be Leonard/Lynch. If L.A. Lynch has a young son named Ray....mystery solved.

Plus, there is a real estate connection between that branch of Buddism and the Leonard Camp.

You sure seem to be an expert in playing with sh*t and nothing else.

But the scandal is on the public place now and if it is not you and here, it will be somebody else somewhere else, now, 'cause now, the public wants to know what is happening.

I am not afraid for the broking image of the sainthood 'cause I feel it would be better for people to believe in themselves, in their own beautiful power, instead of being dependent of the mamels of celebrity. But this is up to them to decide. . How many will "survive" to their fanhood if the milk is proven to having got sour at a certain point? Maybe it is just time to grow up a little, whatever the icone is still without a stain or not.

I feel terribly sorry for the man, though, whatever the truth could be, at this point. If he did not make this mistake, he sure does not deserve to go through all this at this time of his life. If he did... what a mistake! "The rise and fall of Leonard Cohen?" If he did it, now the only thing that he can do is to rise again. To fall down is human to stand up again is divine.

I would also like that imagination would be less fierce around the subject (especially the horror scenari of yours YdF), and that people would be more grounded to the facts in their posts. It is a wish.

I haven't posited any horror scenarios. Is it a sad mess? Yes. But in all probability a million-plus North Koreans are going to die of starvation later this year. That's horror. So the financial shenanigans of our favorite singing millionare don't amount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things.

It is true, as Marie has pointed out, that, due to their proactive PR and legal efforts, the story is being framed by Greenberg, Agile et al. It's a tactical truth in such matters that the best defense is a good offense.

The public has yet to hear Leonard Cohen's side of things. Nor has it heard Kelley Lynch's explanation of anything.

There are numerous scenarios possible. And, it need not be an either/or scenario - since so many dimensions are yet hidden.

Neal Greenberg runs a NASDAQ broker-dealer - which is hardly the definition of being a blue-chip player. The Agile Multi Strategy Fund (AMSRX on NASDAQ) is a poorly performing fund - with its net asset value down almost ten percent in little over a year since being launched. There are questionable aspects to regulatory filings made by inter-related Greenberg/Agile entities. Doubtless, there are stones to be over-turned in examining this cast of players.

(And, such elements may or may not have any direct relevance to Leonard Cohen's situation.)

As YdF and others have pointed out, it would be good if there was, acting for Leonard, a lawyer skilled in these sort of matters, and who was, himself, not controversial and vulnerable in the ways that Robert Kory appears to be...

It's to be hoped that the truth will out, and that justice is served, in the end. Unfortunately, these games don't follow the rules of natural human decency.

Ok, I have some understanding the machinations of financial markets, and the ways of those players who deal in dollars.

I do not, however, begin to know what is going on with religious factions.

Following the trail of that letter from "Kelley Lynch", it is addressed to a couple, Tara and Charles Carreon of Ashland, Oregon. There's plenty of bizarre reading that accompanies those names online.

Tara Carreon, who also uses the web-name of AmbuFortunaZapataGaudi, is described as an alt-Buddhist, who rails against plenty. She writes: "I'm at the point now where I scream at the Dalai Lama and yesterday I publicly revoked his Nobel Peace Prize, which was obviously engineered for him by the CIA." (In another letter, TC claims that Kelley Lynch wanted her to undo her revocation.) TC claims that: "Three of the Dalai Lama's brothers were CIA agents." "And he's a nazi," she says.

Tara's partner, Charles, is also an unusual read. And, coincidentally or not, one of his online writings is a very negative review of "Ten New Songs" - titled by CC "Leonard Cohen, Poisoned by Zen." ( http://www.childoffortune.com/leonard.c ... 20BY%20ZEN )

The email address from which the unidentified "Kelley Lynch" wrote to Tara Carreon was Ekajati@aol.com - which does not seem all that much of a stretch from Tsimar@aol.com - the former email addy for Leonard's management. Again, this may be simply coincidence.
