Jealous

I can still feel you there
in the stillness of time
where words cannot rhyme
and you sense and you hate
from this grave you cannot break
and your fingernails all covered in slime

You genes carry on like some elongated swan song
and your sweats some rain on the mirage of the desert's wadi
your siblings are impregnated with the genetic serpents tail
that creates the veil that we are all living
and instead of learning and all giving
we trod the path of the sinning
the message is all muddied and not shining
in no way are our thoughts divining
and suddenly too late
we pull up from the plate
and see the universe is there
past the rim of our human stare
cross eyed and desensitised the animals glare
of the entity on our shoulder
life is a great big boulder
that weights and weighs
the witch under the door
for possessing secret's that would cause man to soar
but instead the mindless boar
impregnates and sticks in the door, like a dart.............
of unknowing
