My father Eddy Massa passed away

Dear friends and Cohenites,

It is with deep sadness that I am writing to let you all know that my personal hero and beloved father, Eddy Massa, passed away at home yesterday evening at the age of 70. Just like my mom, he was a devoted Cohenite whom many of you have come to know over the years as a gentle, warm and kind man, perfectly complementing my mom. They spent their entire lives together and after being separated for less than three months since my mom passed away, they are reunited once again.

May he rest in peace.

Eddy in Ghent in August 2016

Maarten's message made us sad, even though we were already expecting this. Our deepest condolences to Maarten and his loved ones who have now lost their parents and grandparents in just a few months.

We well remember our first meeting with Eddy and Maarten at the Berlin Event in 2006, when they drove their Cohen-named car from Belgium to Germany. After that, we had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Ann and Eddy at many Cohen happenings around the world. We were happy to have them also visit us in Finland.

The passing of Ann and Eddy is a great loss for the Cohen community. With gratitude, we also remember the many souvenirs that they jointly conceived and implemented as gifts for the participants of our events.
