Dear Cohenites

The registration for the 13th Leonard Cohen Event in Copenhagen is now open.

The official dates are August 2-4, 2024

- Sorry, other payments - like cheques - cannot be accepted (but if you have problems with the 2 paying methods, tell me, and I'll try to help you)

3) Registration confirmation

After a few days (upto a week) you will recieve a confirmation e-mail, when your payment have been recieved. Your e-mail address will be included in a mailing list that will be used solely to inform you about The Leonard Cohen Event, but everything will be posted on this forum as well.

4) Cancellation policy

- The event is organized by Marianne Nielsen and her team, The Leonard Cohen Files and The Leonard Cohen Forum

I can only echo what everyone else has said! Thank you for organising what is shaping up to be a great event and I am very much looking forward to being back in Copenhagen, a city I used to visit frequently but haven’t been to since December 2019.

Do you have any suggestions yet for suitable hotels?

Thanks

Totally agree with all the comments !

I know of several people that booked the Scandic Palace hotel. Be prepared for some stiff rates when booking hotel accommodation in central Copenhagen

Thanks Hugo. Yes, Copenhagen hotel prices are almost invariably eye watering. We usually stay at the Clarion at the airport but I suspect that would not be such a good idea for the event!

Hi Wendy, Radisson Blu is a good choice and not far from the center.

Unfortunately a bit pricey for me Amrei. I regularly use Motel One in England & Scotland so I thought I’d try their Copenhagen hotel, about 2/3 price of Radisson for a decent sized room ( smaller options are available!)

We booked an Airbnb apartment. Maybe this would be an option for you?
