My great song
I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this before, but there's a song titled "Dark Side of the Gym" on the new album "Sleep Well Beast" by the US band The National. Although it's an original piece, it appears to be a heartfelt tribute to Leonard Cohen. The song title and the musical elements in "Dark Side of the Gym" reference Leonard Cohen's song "Memories" from his album "Death of a Ladies' Man." It's a great song, and I appreciate the homage they've paid to the legendary musician.
Re: Dark Side of the Gym by The National
I did not know about the song "Dark Side of the Gym" and its obvious reference to Leonard Cohen's "Memories", so thank you for posting! However, the song, and the album from which it came, is not "new": a Google search reveals that it was released in 2017.
As for "Memories" itself, The National did a cover version with Sufjan Stevens, here:

By the way, you may wish to change the subject of this thread -- unless this is actually "your" song, it is misleading and non-informative -- simply using the song title and band name would be better (as I have done in my amended subject line).
