I am joined by Judy Blair on Hammond organ, Sophie Celdran on harmony vocals and Michel 'Coco' Correch on the double-bass for this version of a song which was originally rejected by Cohen's record-company before being covered by John Cale, Jeff Buckley and more than 300 other people . It was the only song ever to have cover-versions simultaneously at number 1 and 2 in the UK hit parade.
