Campfire Confusion/Confessions

Campfire Confusion/Confessions

Bacon slowly cooking on a fire in a big cast iron skillet.
The heart like the skillet is big & full of love in spite of being hardened & heavy...painfully seasoned by experience.

Alumnus of weekend furloughs from life.
Defragmentation of forty-seven years experience and concluding that I am on my millionth plan by now.
Leonard Cohen said..
“I Never found the girl
I never got rich
Follow me”
No! Don’t follow me although I will follow him.

Life is like cooking bacon on a campfire for the first time.
You wait and wait and wait some more.
Stir it up a little now and then.
Adjust it around some to get it done faster but that is all really useless.
The stirring, the adjustments is just something to do while we wait.
It is the fire, the holy fire, who says “It is done”. “It is finished”.
It is the holy one who gets to consume life.

We’ve all come to
This moment
To find out
Who we are.
Painted colors
Scribed words
Sweetly found.

Francis Bacon, 1st vilecunt of St Albans
Slowly looking at a fire
Lead actor of a big cast
With an iron and a biscuit
The head, like a big fool,
Painfully seasoned with pepper and Chile
A South American Republic.
Aluminium foil, weakened by Life
Defragmentation of his 47 year old wife
Leonard Cohen said
“don’t follow Gulivor he’s a jolly good fellow
And so say all of us”.
Life is like cooking Francis Bacon
Born 28 October 1909, Dublin, Ireland
Died: 28 April 1992, Madrid, Spain

But it’s the Wholemeal One.
“Free the Wholemeal One”

Who gets to eat his wife.
SOME PEOPLE NEVER GO CRAZY.
WHAT TRULY HORRIBLE LIVES
THEY MUST LEAD
