I have repeated this quote again because there are strong clues to both songs written there

But here are some additional clues:
The two songs I want share a similar musical vamp.
In classical music it is called an ostinato and in rock music a riff.

Then I think it's "You Know Who I Am" and "Nothing to One (You Know Who I Am)" from the remastered version of "Songs from a Room".

And, if that is true, may I say: Good thing you changed your clue from "not hidden songs" to "they are both official songs" ...

Ah Hartmut, I never thought of the remastered album of Songs From A Room at all so thank you for thinking of it! It does fit the bill. “Nothing To One” has a slightly faster tempo than “You Know Who I Am” here and the versions below.

The album I had in mind was Live Songs. "Improvisation" is an extended instrumental guitar trio version of the vamp from "You Know Who I Am". The vamp plays without singing for almost a minute with “You Know Who I Am” on this album and both songs are of a similar tempo.

It’s interesting to listen to all four songs for their variations.
