Well today is the 6th anniversary your first post in this thread , a little discussion ensued over the following 3 days then silence for the next 6 years . Foxwood may be right that the first post was ' mischievous'- and nothing wrong with that .
It's good to see a moribund thread come to life again, though i suspect only briefly .For a long time the responses were 'not coming on'. I know that doesn't exactly answer your question !
Since i missed the thread in 2009 i have read it all as something new to me in 2015 and it is for a short time back near the top of ' comments and questions'

thank you, dave. i achieved only a 'runner up' position. leonard, who has much knowledge about art, had no say in the matter. it doesn't matter, though - he surely knows that great painters being unappreciated in their lifetimes is quite common. so, no book with a personal inscription from him to me, i'm afraid - just a t-shirt. it is a brutal planet we populate, a world where man is encouraged to fight and compete against his brother, a world of triumphant winners and humiliated losers, of superior fortunates who own books with a personalised inscription from leonard, and inferior unfortunates who wear the consolation prize of a t-shirt. life is never fair, dave, it is a hostile battle ground "and the judgements are severe" - as leonard sings in one of his songs.
