Well, I'm really surprised to hear that. I believe, each of us has a number of LC studio recording that don't "fit", more than one. Is it the only one for you? Wow...holydove wrote:I must admit, though, it's the only LC studio recording that I never really loved, in terms of the musical style

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Actually, you are right, Roman. Your post triggered by memory (& my honesty), & I can think of 2 other studio recordings that, musically speaking, I don't really love. (Jazz Police is just the one that stood out the most, in that arena). But I don't want to hijack this thread with that kind of discussion, so I'm not going to name the other 2 songs here. Suffice it to say that your belief is correct, at least in terms of my musical tastes, & thank you for pointing that out.Goldin wrote: Well, I'm really surprised to hear that. Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Please, give me a song which contains a line where is mentioned a thing that is used to steer an animal. (The animal is not mentioned.)

Hi Maj,
"The Future" contains this line:
you feel the devil's riding crop

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi Steven,
The equipment, I was thinking of, is less painful. No creatures or animals are mentioned.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Hi Maj, maybe either one of these two songs (I prefer BOTAM bottom line but I couldn't resist adding the line above it)
No need for the whip
Ah, no need for the rein – Ballard Of The Absent Mare
you fastened to the rein – Take This Longing

This is the line I was thinking, Bev
from Hydra, where some donkeys are carrying bells in their reins.
I'll bring a photo (absolutely my own)B4real wrote: you fastened to the rein – Take This Longing

Hi,
Modern illumination isn't necessary to see something in the night in lyrics of what song?

Are you referring to the Sisters of Mercy?

Hi Roman,
Yes, indeed: "Don't turn on the lights you can read their address by the moon."

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
Thanks! (I guess, now it's my turn to ask?)
Anyway, it's time for a selfish promotion of my new instagram account (with some old photos on it). I hope, there you'll find new pictures from Hydra soon (so feel free to follow)!
And now - the next question: what does the name of this account mean?

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
As usually, a line is the answer.
A word that sometimes refers to LC in his own lyrics is hidden behind one of these letters.

Re: L.C. Song Hunt
If you search (Ctrl+F), you'll find this word repeated 5 times on this particular page!
But that's just 1/13 of the answer.
