A notorious ladies' man, ordained Buddhist, and grandson of a rabbi, Leonard Cohen was born into a priestly class in Montreal's old, thriving Jewish community. A keen interest in the profane – in sex and drugs, if not exactly rock'n'roll – has made him, over the last thirty years one of popular music's most unflinching songwriter’s and performers.

In this special evening, Keith James, a deft interpreter of the Cohen song-book , strips the songs back to their most basic elements, revealing the humour, frailty and sensuality that lies beneath. Hear classics like Chelsea Hotel, Famous Blue Raincoat, Sisters of Mercy, Hallelujah and many more in this special intimate evening for Cohen fans, touring Ireland for the first time.

The evening also includes tributes to one of Cohen’s key inspirations, the Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca, with James setting some of his poems to music.

I have seen Keith James sing Leonard Cohen in the past. Never again as far as I am concerned. I didn't like the man's attitude and didn't think insulting Leonard Cohen fans was the best way to endear himself to an audience of Leonard Cohen fans.

This is of course my own opinion but I know there are orhers on here who would agree with me.
