Dear Vegard,
Are you from Norway, but moved to the U.S.? Is the racism in your homeland of this degree and intensity? I would never have dreamed this scene to be from Norway; but, as I read it, countless U.S. street corners and personal observations of conversations flashed through my mind. Particularly in the southeastern region, where I am currently living.
I am very impressed by your personal investment in this issue. It's an area about which I have endured a variety of reactions for speaking out [against racism]. You have really captured the bigotry dynamic and its manifestation-into-words extremely well. What a human piece you have created, and a powerful picture of yourself in your final verse. I like this very, very much. Very substantive and important.

Thank you Lizzytysh, your generous words makes me smile...
No, I still live in Norway. Actually, I think the degree and intensity might have been magnified by the volume of the writing. Racism might be considerably more wide spread in Norway, but I think you might have gotten the wrong impresion of daily life in Norway...
Once again, thank you for your the time you gave my writing, it is most appreciated...
