Lisa - Well spotted! The link between the American banknote and the Illuminati is actually made in the top video in the last link that I posted above (which also shows both Obama and George W. Bush supposedly making the "Devil's horns" symbol with their hands). I have also heard and read that Benjamin Franklin was a member of the Hellfire club, so the association between America and the powers of darkness goes back a long way. I'm still curious to know the official explanation of the unifed hearts/eye logo.

I have a theory about why the eye feels uncomfortable & disturbing to us, & I think it's possible that it was intentionally drawn in a way that would induce discomfort. My theory is based on the premise that the image represents the Awakened Heart. And the experience of the Awakened Heart can be very uncomfortable. Trungpa Rinpoche (a Tibetan Master) said: "When you are unenlightened, the eyelash is in your hand. When you are enlightened, the eyelash is in your eye". In other words, when the inner eye awakens, everything becomes extremely vivid, extremely large, extremely bright - everything is intensely magnified - the joy as well as the pain. It's also been said that in the process of awakening, there is a point at which there are 2 potential directions which the unfoldment can take - you either become enlightened or you go insane. Why would one go insane? Because the light is too bright.

I don't think the Illuminati put the eye there, I think Leonard put it there. And I think the way it is drawn reflects the experience of awakening, & the disturbing, uncomfortable magnification that comes with it. "Myself I long for love & light/ but must it come so cruel, & oh so bright". I guess it must. . . Leonard drew us into the pure, gentle, open space of the beautiful Unified Heart, & now he is showing us another aspect of its awful truth. I think it's quite brilliant. The truth can be shocking, & it doesn't always look like a pretty flower, but we know that Leonard always tells the truth & I love him for that.

I don't know if any of what I've said here is the true intention of the logo, but the image has kind of taken hold of me, & I thought it was an interesting theory to contemplate, so there it is. . .

I find this very interesting, how symbols can mean so many things to different people - personally I tend towards the Greek evil eye, or the awakening of the higher eye aspect of the symbol. I have a tattoo of a hamsa on my shoulder and designed it with an eye in the centre, specifically for the protective symbolism of the evil eye image. Thoughts of the Illuminati never entered in to it, and I never made that connection here either.

True that symbols mean different things to different people, but in recent times the eye/triangle symbol has most often been used by gangsta rappers and satanic metal bands. It's also been used by dodgy politicians, Hitler, and Aleister Crowley - Thus I personally find it hard to perceive it as a symbol of Love and Light!

Two interesting facts were told to me by two people who seemed to be quite enlightened (and not from any fundamentalist persuasion). One said that when an artist shoots to mega fame suddenly and unexpectedly, it is usually the illuminati at work (even if the artist themselves doesn't realise it). He cited Lady Gaga as an example.Another person told me that a young girl on X -Factor touted to be the next big thing was wearing the symbol on her ear-rings...and we all know X-Factor is the Devil's work!

Anyway, since Leonard is clearly aware of things being discussed on the board recently, we may hopefully hear his take on the changing form of the unified hearts?

Lizzy - If would advise you to trust your initial intuitive feelings rather than adapt to anyone's theories (mine included!). I agree with everything holydove says about raised consciousness bringing discomfort, but note that so far the new symbols are only being used for the purpose of selling merchandise.

Marie - Eek! I must have been brainwashed already. Seriously though, it seems it's largely subliminal as far as concert screens go, as people will be socialising or focusing on the stage. I wouldn't know about Twitter, except that I believe it to be part of the collective dumbing-down that is part of the plan (and in which politicians participate).

"Facts"? I don't know about that.

Perhaps Leonard's "sudden shoot to mega fame" (since the tour began in 2008) has something to do with the incredibly high caliber of his concerts, the superior quality of his songs and of all the musicians involved, and the sublime and almost spiritual experience that people have at his concerts (fulfilling the "spiritual thirst" that so many people have in this increasingly vapid and meaningless world!). Just a thought.

Hi John,

I never thought of the hands as "obscuring" the heart. Maybe you already know this, but the hands are positioned in the form of the Hebrew letter "shin" - (that letter is also in the center of the image) - & it's the way the high priests of Israel (descendants of Aaron) are supposed to hold their hands, with palms down, when they give the "priestly blessing", at the end of a service (mostly in orthodox synagogues). The letter "shin" represents the "shaddai", which is the protective aspect of god. To me, the heart is still quite visible, & I always thought the representation of this priestly blessing was a beautiful addition to the symbol, & I don't think I will ever believe that there is anything sinister about it. Yes, the thumbs & forefingers also form a kind of triangle, but as I'm sure you know, the triangle is also considered a sacred symbol in various schools of thought.

Just about anything in the world can be interpreted in either a positive or negative way, depending on one's mindset; but I think one truth that has now emerged very clearly is that this (deceptively) simple symbol is very much like one of Leonard's songs or poems - with many potential interpretations, multi-layered meanings, continuously changing. . .how fascinating!

I like the new logo. I like the eye.
The eye was used since ancient times as a symbol of Sun God and as an emblem of intellectual observation.
The bible uses the eye as a symbol of God's omniscience and paternal care; the eye in a triangle has become a symbol of God's omnipresence.
I can see a logo with Jewish and Christian symbols.

The use of these symbols by Illuminati (if so) don't make them junk.
Too much honor for Illuminati to think they've affected the logo.
