PRESALE TO DUBLIN
Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN
Hello,
I don't usually post on here but I've used the site for pre-sales for a long time so I want to say thank you for that.
I am attending both Dublin shows on my own so if anyone wants to meet and say hello I would really like that.
I also want to say that I cannot recommend the Gibson Hotel highly enough. It is located 2 minutes (yes, literally 2 minutes) from the O2 Arena. You could fall out of the hotel 10 minutes before curtain up and still be in your seat on time.
Here is the link to the Tripadvisor page
http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Revi ... ublin.html
Also, you can get the bus directly from and to Dublin airport as it stops directly outside the O2 Arena and the Dublin airport bus service is incredibly efficient and cheap.
The rates at the Gibson Hotel are currently good but they will go up nearer the time. For savvy travellers, open a Quidco account (everyone should have one of these), then book the Gibson via an Expedia link from Quidco, and you'll get 12% of your hotel cost back in cash.
I hope this helps anyone who needs to sort out their Dublin travel.

I set a reminder for my phone to wake me at 2:45 AM CDT but forgot to take it off vibrate so I overslept until 3:40 AM. I got to my computer just before the pre-sale for Thursday night started working. Anne & I got flat seating row J seats 33-34. Yeah! So looking forward to Ireland and Dublin this fall!

That is great news Joe. I knew there was a logical explanation for the delay on the second concert, Ticketmaster were just waiting for you to wake upJoe Way wrote:I set a reminder for my phone to wake me at 2:45 AM CDT but forgot to take it off vibrate so I overslept until 3:40 AM. Just on the Gibson I was intending going to the Thursday night concert but now cannot and will go Wednesday instead. I had The Gibson booked
for Thursday and it is non refundable. I know a few Cohen fans so will most likely be able to move it on anyway but I have a double room with
breakfasts booked for €111 so if someone wants this for €100 let me know. I think it is a good rate for the Gibson. If I still have it nearer the date
I will post again. I have an e-mailed voucher confirming the booking. I am just about to book for the Wednesday now.
Update: the company I booked with rang to refund the Thursday night so I no longer have it. Re iterate the advice above to consider booking it. Book via Trivago or Olotello for keen rates, sooner the better as it be 200 minimum before too long.
Thanks to all for the wonderful pre-sale.

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN
After the 12th non sales, tried the 11th and was unable to purchase, TM might have locked me out for looking at 12th and 11th together. Switched to a notebook and hung around waiting for the 12th to open.
Forgot to thank the good Jarkko being so relieved and happy to get a good seat on the 12th, so 'sincere thanks Jarkko, your efforts are greatly appreciated'

There's more than one lot up for sale. Search on Ebay, and there is in excess of 40 tickets on there.Olwen wrote:If it's true then its disgusting, many true fans find it hard to get tickets.Mabeanie1 wrote:This looks awfully like tickets from the Forum presale allocation:

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN
Thanks Jarkko for the updates this morning about the delay with the Thursday tickets. It helped to know that it wasn't just me and my computer! I was frantically trying to get tickets as I had to leave for work after 10 am. so I just got in before I left. No luck for me with flat seating for either Wednesday or Thursday, wasn't able to get beyond Ticketmaster's 'best available option'. I got Block D row 13 for both concerts but I would have taken anything at that stage. Just glad that Len is coming and I am going
So thanks again Jarkko, your work is much appreciated, Mile Buiochas duit

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN
Thanks Jarkko for all the hard work on the pre-sale. Ignored doing any work for an hour or two this morning and got tickets flat-seating on Wednesday and Block D on Thursday because its a big group of people. Absolutely delighted with them. Can't thank you enough! Roll on September!
There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN
Many thanks Jarkko for arranging the pre-sale. I got flat seating for Wednesday through the O2 pre-sale and ran with the forum pre-sale for Thursday. A bad choice as it turned out but I eventually got in shortly after 10am for the Thursday pre-sale. Got Block D. Another stressful morning.
Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN

Merci Jarkko.
