Imagery inspired by Leonard Cohen's songs

Hello from another LC fan (since 1967).

I was overjoyed to hear him in Sydney, Australia in 2008, a dream come true. I am now doing my Master of Arts and thinking of a project where I produce a series of photographs based on my visualisation of his words.

Seeking your help in two ways:

Any such work done previously? I am aware of the Facebook page where fans can submit images based on his songs. Any others? perhaps scholarly?

I am aware of 3 movies with his music on the soundtrack and a few commercials with snippets of his songs. Any thing else?

Any and all ideas/links gratefully accepted.

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but you said any and all ideas, etc.

On this forum, under "Everything Else," you will see "Picture Game." This is an ongoing thread where a member posts a picture (usually a photograph) and the others have to guess which words from which song the picture signifies; then when the correct answer is guessed, that person posts a new picture. If you spend a little time there you will see many example of photographs visualizing LC's words, some beautiful, some clever, some creative, and some funny. One of the "stars" of the Picture Game is also from Down Under.
