Kabbalah & Cohen

Post by Tchocolatl »

I don't now if it is (like I read that Cohen said he thinks it is, in an interview, somewhere) Irving Layton who leads Leonard Cohen to work in the magic of the kabbalah but if it is : Jai guru deva om for Pincu Lazarovitch (tout fripon divin type vieux schnock qu'il ait pu être par ailleurs).

I do believe that Cohen would have been at it - still be at it - by himself, but probably the other one eases and speeds the process.

I was wondering why I was so fan of Leonard Cohen and lately discovered (thanks to Holydove, though it was all by chance) it is because of the repairing process in is art works, kabbalah style. I was wondering why (some) others were seing sadness, where I was experiencing repair of the sadness. When I listen to other beautiful sad songs both in French and in English, they are, let say it like this, "crying buddies only" (which is precious also, comforting to have "company" in some way, but I miss the hope in the process) or depicting a sad or painful situation. Dot. But with Leonard Cohen, I feel regenerated, no matter what the wound can be.

So many thanks for this. These thankings will end me. 8)
