Well have a fab time in Cork, Gwen!
I enjoyed the radio interview and clips, Bev. So, Molly is a bloke:-) As I recall, Leonard was late for Oz last time, too. I imagine that once he's got the northern hemisphere done, he will again make his way down to you. Fingers crossed!
The outdoor show at Hanging Rock will be an anomaly on a tour which will otherwise be indoors, unlike the 2003 tour where the band played in not quite full outdoor stadiums and, in Sydney at least, were dogged by appalling sound issues and power failures.
The sound on this tour left something to be desired in the UK too - unless you were near the front - at Sunderland and Hyde Park. I had assumed the increasing problem of muffled and low sound volume at stadium/big outdoor venues had to do with our ever more stringent health and safety reg.s, but if the problem is a worldwide one, maybe it's partly the fault of sloppy sound engineers. I am surprised Bruce has not addressed this issue. Some said at Sunderland that although sound could be a lot better, Bruce was so good it didn't matter. In my opinion if you go to a music concert, the sound is the one thing that should be right! I remember when rock concerts used to almost make your ears bleed! Too bad we have gone to the other extreme. Moan over.
ps The Rising, yes, first class album, Worlds Apart - supreme track.
