Leonard Cohen - Montreal interview,

Post by merton »

Hi,

From what I can see this interview was originally posted by Leonka sometime back in a thread related to Simon Cowell. So for many this great interview might have passed you by. If so, enjoy it now, and again and again.

Thanks merton! Here is a link to another Montreal interview which has also been posted before but handy to have the 2 together in the one topic.

Hi,

I'm retracing some steps here. But at 8 min 17sec on part 3 of the interview Leonard recites words from a song in progress:

Needless to say having transcribed them I didn't have far to go to find that Cohen detectives had been there years before me:

Hi,

Pardon my fixation with this interview. In part 2 at 1.27 Leonard is asked whether he is religious
L.C. "I wouldn't call myself a religious man..I don't believe in any version of God that I can come up with ... where my prayer is addressed I would not dare to say...." and he goes on to say so much and so gracefully.
