Here is a newspaper article from the "Rheinische Post" about the upcoming show in Mönchengladbach.

It talks about Leonard's huge success with his album "Old Ideas" and they call him one of the worldwide greatest singer and songwriter of all time .
They also quote some other newspapers, for example: (I tried to translate)

the Irish Independent: "What I have seen was inspiring beyond any measure. I have never been touched from a performance in this way. Everything this evening was magical."

I haven't been to MG before. I have no idea where there would be a good place to meet. There seems to be a hotel not far from Hockeypark. But they don't have either Cafe or restaurant.They mentioned a bakery with Edeke across the Hockeystadion

There is the BORUSSIA PARK just opposite the Warsteiner Hockey Park.
The have a sportsbar, open from 11 am to 8 pm

The restaurant mentioned above is a rather posh place with excellent food in an old English church.
