It was the second creation of lust
and it was the rib bone that bust
that caused the fall from the nest
and the clambering to get back up
was the soul and the feast
that fell into the hands of the beast
and the pryamids of the east
the angels often came down
back to boogie town
and their feet on the ground
and their seed in the around
often intelligence in the offspring
and more divine in the shape
of the naked ape
the hairless and the profound
the homo sapiens with a glimmer of God
and they were giants be
amongst the apes that scattered off the tree
and an apple of discord hung free
