help wanted

some time ago i stumbled upon a picture of leonard sitting at a table with kris kristoffersen. it looked like some kind of event. it was just the two of them. i believe i saw it somewhere in this forum. i would like to take another look at it but cannot locate it, despite searching for quite a while. can anyone else here remember seeing it, and can supply any other information that might help me?

hi geoffrey - would it perhaps be the Roy Orbison concert you're thinking of? september 1987 methinks, with bruce springsteen and jenny warnes and elvis costello and jackson browne, and others, on stage with roy; shown on tv here [again!] in the uk about a month ago; i saw KK in the audience for sure, but must have missed Leonard.

If it is indeed the Roy Orbison concert, that would be 'Roy Orbison - A Black and White Night' concert video which is often shown during the PBS (Public Broadcasting System) pledge drives here in the US. I have a copy, and now my curiosity is at an all time high. I need to watch this again to see if indeed LC is sitting at a table with KK.

hi jim. no, it was not the roy orbison show. i saw a photo somewhere taken much more recently. it was in colour, and leonard and kris sat at a table discussing something. it was maybe this year or 2011, i would guess. very strange that it is so difficult to locate again. -g
