I was in England last week and picked up a copy of 'The Lyrics of LEONARD COHEN' in The WORKS book shop for just £3.99 reduced from £12.99.
It has over 100 Lyrics and some lovely photos of LC from the begining until now in a paperback form. Unfortunately it doesn't have the 'OLD IDEAS' lyrics but it does have all the classics.
The picture on the front caught my eye first as it is the same as the poster I have hanging in my library that LC signed for me.
The Works also had LEONARD COHEN; HALLELUJAH (a new biography by Tim Footman) for £3.99. Vicomté is reading it at the moment as a friend gave it to him recently. He says that it's a very good read giving an in depth portrait of LC.
I did a lot of visiting while I was in England and saw both books in at least 5 stores but only 2 to 4 copies in each.

Lyrics of LC is, indeed, a lovely book. Some really nice photos, and occasionally some rather amusing editorial comments about the lyrics. It is a handy resource for when one can't remember a lyric, and needs a quick reference.
As for Hallelujah by T Footman, horrid book: glib and irreverent, and clearly a quickly thrown-together cash grab following the success of the last world tour. They couldn't even get the cover photo right, using a backwards reversed image.

Vicomté has only just started Hallelujah by T. Footman but so far enjoying it as bedtime reading. Will let you know what he thinks of it when he's further into the book.
