Oh to the place where time does end
that you go to when your heart is heavy and your soul does splodge and descend
that teaches you always that you need a friend
It's in times like this in your friend you depend
Humans are not islands they prefer a mate
anything other than the dark cold of the isolate
someone to hold your hand at heaven's gate
to share the rush of the wonder at the divine light
geometrical patterns of life and abstract second sight
somehow everything you know will be all right
as your wander and meander into the cold starry night
and seek forever the meaning of life.

'splodge and descend'
'splodge and descend'
I have an image of a soul splodging and descending
Well I think I have an image
I am trying to form an image of splodging and descending. I can manage it with something more tangible than a soul...maybe an apple pie, but I am having difficulty with the soul.
You've done this on purpose haven't you Georges?
You knew that if you used the words 'splodge' and 'descend' in the same line that it would create conflict.
'seek forever the meaning of life'...I will look deep into my soul and see if it is capable of splodging.
and then I will truly understand the meaning of life.
Thankyou for these lines Georges...I will now search for my friend!
