Happy Easter All.

"In the stony village church
Easter bells of old ring"

They did in our village this spring morning.

Our local church is lucky enough to have eight bells...the tennor bell is the biggest with a 53 inch diameter and weighs 24cwt.
Allways a pleasure to hear them ring out!

I'm usually here when I can't sleep!
Peanuts and daffodils? That's quite a combination Geoffrey!

I supose the US does come alive when most of europe is in bed...
The nights always seem longer when you're alone.

i like long nights on the computer, endless cups of green tea, going onto the balcony to fill lungs with fresh air, looking at the lights in langevåg across the fjord, the moon over the white mountains, so serene and quiet, then coming back inside the warm. i go to bed when morning comes, a bit like dracula ;-)x

did you take that picture of the church. it's nice. where is it?

I like the Green Tea and the fresh air...Can't see the moon tonight, too cloudy.

No I didn't take that photo...it's from the parish website. Most of my photos of it were taken at weddings and christenings i've been to there.
It's very old and quite famous.

It's St Michaels Church In Bray...Berkshire. Not far from Windsor Castle.
