On Becoming a Tree (mini prose from a note)

Post by Cate »

as this made a very sweet lady giggle

Sometimes surprise myself in the mirror. Since turning 40 my breasts seem to have developed an interest
in my toes and only regain their proper shape if I put my hands over my head. This could be a problem for
me as I'd like to take a young lover and of course want to appear my best. I think the only reasonable
solution is to tell my future love that I have a tree fetish ... that way, they will not think that I am strange
when I never lower my hands below my shoulders when naked. Perhaps I could practice a seductive tree
dance, waving my hands to and fro in the air so that my lover will also think that I am artistic.

(note to anyone with a tree fetish - I am not actually looking for a lover.)

I like this.
Humour with very subtle hints of sadness?

Oh cate…I remember a discussion about tree aerobics a while ago.. And as a member of the ample assets club (36FF), I know exactly what you are talking about…. Today’s underwear is fantastic in supporting the fuller bust but what’s a girl to do when she has to take it off????… Mine may not have an interest in my toes yet but they used to look to the stars now they just stare ahead into oblivion! I have to admit that I am getting very tired of the hands clasped behind the neck Photos…err… I mean Poses!
Would appreciate instruction in the lesser known tree dance… (So would my Irishman, as although a wonderful way to go, breast asphyxiation would take some explaining)….And as for giggling…well it could just set off the next tsunami ………

nope, you would think but no. This probably won't sound as I intend it, but I like my body.
Whether 21, 41, or 61 bodies are joyous things that probably should taken less seriously but treated much better.

Karren you make me laugh - our poor king. All those times I was plotting varies methods of ... (let's go with early retirement planning for him) and not once did I think of asking you to send him off in the way he would best love.
