Jeff Buckley project

There are actually two, totally separate Buckley biopics in the works.

Still, the one likely to reach screens fastest (because it has the backing of the Buckley estate and therefore exclusive rights to his music, diaries, drawings and letters) is directed by Ridley Scott's son Jake and stars singer/actor Reeve Carney, a shrimpy-beautiful Buckley clone (last seen in Snow Falling on Cedars). Patricia Arquette has also been signed up to play Buckley's mother, Mary Guibert.
