"If green-lighted, which seems a formality, the Canadian legend will play Dublin in either August or September. With his Old Ideas album lodged in the Irish top 5, tickets are likely to sell out in double quick time."

Re: Dublin
If that's aimed at me, then definitely not. "Hi, anyone been in the summer? Any good gigs?" Is not news. A report that an application has been made for a concert is news. You were just snowing the board with cryptic comments about Dublin. The first one or two were enough to make your point.Rodin wrote:Hmm some on here will have to eat their words now.....
Who was it who referred to the I-Know-Something-That-You-Don't brigade? Hmmm.

I moved this thread to comments.
And it did took me some time to get to what it does refer and surely it is not news.
We all could write more direct news, with links, not like puzzles, and be more polite, pretty please. For decade this Forum was VERY polite place.

Re: Dublin
What is going on here? Hot Press Magazine has reported that an application has been made to the appropriate authorities for a Licence to enable Leonard Cohen to play in the grounds of The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin where he performed in 2008. To my knowledge it has not been confirmed that Leonard Cohen will be playing in Dublin in August/September 2012. I sincerely hope he does. Let us stick to real news. I, personally, await a positive announcement with baited breath but will not be counting chickens.....
