Hi there, I just finished reading a book called Son Of Hamas, by Mosab Hassan Yousef. He claims in his book that the shin Ben (Israeli internal seacret service) used the song First we take Manhattan, by LC as a way to torment Plestinian prisoners during the second Intifada. Did LC ever hear or oppose such thing, as I think he would if he was aware of it?

news to me. it is well known that 'jazz police' has been used as a torture method to prisoners who have their hands handcuffed behind their backs so they can't put their fingers in their ears - but i've never heard of them using 'first we take manhattan' before.
