neil diamond song concludes the show - so there's no reason why hallelujah shouldn't be included.
...the climactic song designed to send everyone out on a high is I'm a Believer, which dates back to 1966. Clearly Neil Diamond is a composer's best friend.

Hi everyone just wanna let you know that Amanda Holden has announced that she is pregnant again with a baby girl and will be leaving her role as Princess Fiona in Theatre Royal’s production of Shrek the Musical. Holden leaves on October 3rd, 8 weeks early.

^ Hmm that doesn't surprise me - she was barely there! I saw Shrek the Musical last week with Kimberly from Girls Aloud in it and I thought she was really good!
