I need to tell you...

Not posted anything remotely serious for a while, and this one’s way out of my comfort zone, but somehow my usual little rhymes can’t express the depth of my feelings. But then again, maybe some feelings can’t be put into words?

I need to tell you…

I can’t remember how it happened… or when,
I just know you turned my world on its axis.
I’d like to think that I’m still in control…
but that choice is out of my hands.
My head is no longer at the helm,
my heart steers this ship.

It’s hard to comprehend the things I’m feeling.
You hold my heart so tightly in your hand
that I just have to trust you not to break it,
but I am willing to take that chance.
This time there is no going back
I belong to you.

My body aches for you and you fill my mind
with lustful thoughts and unbearable longings.
I want to feel your skin touching mine,
not for a short time but always.
I long to turn over and you are there…
maybe one day soon?

I hunger for your love and your devotion,
and yearn to feel your warm and loving touch.
I enjoy the gentle rhythm of your body
as you fulfil my fantasies
and I satisfy your every need…
my body is yours.

I want to tell you what you mean to me…
but there are no words that can convey my thoughts.
The words ‘I love you’ seem inadequate
to show the depth of my feelings,
they may sound worn out and over used
but they‘re all I have!

I like the sense of submission - the fully embracing of what ever it is that love is.
