Use of Leonard Cohen's music

For private use I composed lyrics to some of LC's music. Musician friends said to explore a fee arrangement so I could sell the CDs. How do I do this? Where can I send the mockup CD that is subtitled An Homage to Leonard Cohen?

Just a quick update in what’s going on round here at the moment…though nobody really ever knows…


Our Boss Violets done a bunk with that Leonard Cohen hunk,
Kwills has no idea what’s going on.
Puss in boots is on a mission, searching for some new positions,
Some guys changing Leonard Cohen’s songs.

I.F’s got her whips and leathers, you can sometimes find her tethered
In the dark dank dungeon down below.
Puss in boots is always waiting for the man she has been dating,
When he’ll join her no one seems to know!

This place is like the twilight zone but many of us call it home,
That is something lots of us have found.
I doubt that you’ll find much decorum in this backroom of the forum,
But you’ll have fun if you can stick around!

Who knows what will happen next, most of us will stay perplexed,
No use trying hard to understand.
Kwills will end up in the bar and Puss in boots will go to far,
But that’s the way thing are in Cohen land.

Actually, it probably filters out anything un-noir like, I would imagine.. in which case the messages you receive from me might seem to have the plot density of The Big Sleep, for example.. a plot which (rumor has it) even the screenwriter lost track of] [and STILL it's a great flick]
