Re: kd lang and art garfunkel in Edmonton
I saw Art Garfunkel in an intimate venue and had front row centre seats. He was brilliant! Going to see Paul Simon in the same venue in a few weeks

Re: kd lang and art garfunkel in Edmonton
I am off to see K D Lang in Birmingham at the end of May and am really looking forward to it. I have never seen her live before but she has an amazing voice. She has been in the UK promoting her new album this past week, popping up on all the talk shows and recording a session for the BBC which aired on radio last night, TV broadcast to follow next week. She seems to be quite a character and I like what I've heard so far.
Not so sure about Art Garfunkel. I used to be a big fan in years gone by but I saw him live in Manchester a few years ago and, quite frankly, was more than a little bit disappointed. Maybe it was an off night but in retrospect I wish I'd stuck with my memories.

Hi Wendy
I know what you mean about Art G. have watched videos on you tube and yeah--but I never did see him in person....
Kd on the other hand is in fine form, if the Olympic ceremonies were any indication. I did see her a few years ago at the Jubilee in Edmonton.
Simon and Garfunkel had to cancel their tour here last year due to voice issues for Art, so maybe they have decided a smaller venue works for his voice now. Hope so.
