NOT the cake, lol! I believe Egyptian Goddess was mentioned (if not here, on a previous thread), you are not going crazy. It was a great time (although next time you've gotta come part'ay with us until 5:00am...).

That's okay, Diana. I think we were through. Yes, I did mention Egyptian somewhere else, too, though couldn't tell you where now. I agree that Nadine is a woman and her own one at that. When I speak of goddess, of course, my references relate to her 'look' ~ not who she is as a person. One day I'll be able to see her perform. At this point, I have three songs that are my favourites, but that's going by accessing her online, rather than on dvd in my own space or in person... and those always make a difference. So, comments on all that are forced to wait. I'm pleased to see you say so many positive things about her and her performance.

I am late getting to this thread due to some password issues... however I do want to contribute my thoughts and impressions of NEeMA's performance at Joe's Pub.
I have read all of the previous comments and can add this...
The evening was filled with warmth and joy which was illumnated by the artist NEeMA . Her voice was melodic and beautiful as it blended with the sound of the musical instruments which were played with perfection by NEeMA and her band. Her ability to write was apparent as each song told a story which could be visualized in your mind . She has a natural gift which was beautiful to experience. I had the opportunity to meet her after the show and I found her to be very genuine and kind. I would like to say...thank you NEeMA for a wonderful evening filled with music,friendship and kindness.
