what follows is something that came out of a conversation between myself and an old friend who i have romantic feelings for. lord help me.

Lie

A thousand apologies to you if I have mistrusted your honesty,
If you believe that honesty is shooting someone between the eyes so that they know it was you.
For I’d rather die mercilessly at your ruthless hand,
Than ever have you believe that I loved you any less.
