Vine for Las Vegas 12/11/10

I think it makes sense to have 2 vines - one for North America & one for Europe/UK - that way everyone will get the recording sooner.

At this point the Europe/UK vine is: musicmania - pe - neo - Davido - Judy - Artur - Jilly - rpan - Guy - Phillip

The North American vine is: Mollydog - lcarbon - vern.silver

I will send out 2 copies: one to Mollydog & one to musicmania (please send me a PM with your address)
I am ready to send them out on Monday. I will make another post when they are in the mail.

I've just downloaded the entire concert from a website that Dr. Heck of a Guy posted on his website so I was coming on line to ask to be removed from the vine. Thanks anyway!

sorry, no mail from america so far ; the snow is everywhere , so we'll have to wait a little longer.
(there's one little corner of belgium, though, without any snow at all, no "white christmas" here, but we depend on brussels for international mail, so ...)

So sorry the cd's have not arrived yet - it would have made such a nice Xmas present! Well, I expected that it would take at least a week, & I just mailed it 5 days ago; maybe it will come in a few days & it will help you celebrate the new year. . .

By the way, in case anyone doesn't know (I just discovered this yesterday) - you can put music in WAV format into your iPod - you don't have to convert it to MP3 - I'm so excited about that - & that way, the sound will be better, & the songs that were divided will become seamless (or almost seamless).

the discs arrived today, i got them out of my mailbox this evening, coming home after work. they're still cold, now, so i'll let them rise to room temperature, before making my copy. i'll have to wait a little longer, before "enjoying this amazing phenomenon", as rachel says, but i had a whole day of mozart on the radio, (from seven this morning, up to midnight, half an hour ago, so that's some great phenomenon, too,) to enjoy.
at this moment, before making copies of LC, i'm having some great time with yet another kind of phenomenon : country music documentary about patsy kline, dolly, loretta, tammy, tanya tucker and bobby gentry : another kind of heaven, but heaven has many faces.
anyway, the discs will start their european trip tomorrow to neo.

i'll add a copy of the files from the same concert, i got on dime, to the package, for those who might want to compare sound and things like that. these are flac-format, i play with "foobar2000", so i did not convert them to mp3 or wav or whatever.

many thanks, again, rachel, for a great newyears' gift.

p.s. : tomorrow is a whole day of schubert, after that comes beethoven, and finally friday we get handel . all of those days are also LC days, (nights), that means those old composers have some bright young company, in the final days of 2010.
