and travelled thirty six years of magical wrongs
the talent was there for all to hear and listen
from Suzanne and oranges to thousands kissen
most people don't know what they have missed
in yearning for musical bliss
discovery late will have to do
and searching love and hate
and there is a war too
all these years of songs and works
frequent diamonds and very little rust
sixty eight years in this crust
lets hope his singing stays robust!!
