Two different days in Philly - at a theatre just blocks from where I live.
I like that!

Thanks, Resonater for posting this website. It contains the image of the advertising poster I mentioned earlier. It really warmed my heart to see these posters in several places in the theatre. I asked the manager if they had any extras and could I have one. She said no extras, and they raffle off the ones there at the end of the run. But, for me she would make an excpetion. I have to check back with her assistant on Sunday after the last screening.Resonater wrote:Screenings in Boston? Capital Theater in Arlington, MA. I went to see the 7PM screening last night in Philadelphia, same thing. No credits or anything at the end. Just a minute or two of black and white footage of Leonard then nothing. Was a good film and even better seeing it on the big screen. I was disappointed to see there really wasen't any turn out for it at all. I went into the theater about 10 minutes before showtime and nobody was there. By the time the show started 1 other person was there. During the show I kept hearing the door open and close so I assumed people were coming in late. I was sitting in I think about the 7th row from front so I didn't turn around to look everytime I heard it open. When the show was over and I turned around to see who else was there but to my surprise there was only one other person there who turned up during the show. Making a grand total of 3 people at that screeningbridger15 wrote:Alert - abrupt ending to the film
No Lorca interviews and no closing credits
I went to my first screening (of three) last night. There was a nice turnout.
The film goes to B/W at end of "Closing Time" then the screen immediately went blank and the house lights came up. We all sat there in silence waiting. Nada. There are no credits whatsoever at the end. And no Lorca interviews.
The theatre manager assured me that they screened everything they were given. A staff person suggested the distributor might have omitted the bonus bits for those who buy the DVD... package.
It was fun this time to spot Jarkko in the first row at the O2. I seemed to have missed that when I saw the film in Krakow.
I am going again on Saturday morning to Encino and on Sunday to Santa Monica. I just can't get enough of it. The film is thrilling!
