Butterflies(on a summernight like this)

Post by peter danielsen »

I know I cannot leave you on
a summernight like this
when every single butterfly
reminds me of your kiss

Because I cannot leave you
or stay for just one night
Im making dust for butterflies
and watch them in their flight

I know my dust is nothing but
a powder quickly gone
but every single butterfly
keeps circling on and on

I guess that you have trained them well
to imitate your kiss
that I will never leave you on
a summernight like this.

Perfectly lovely, Peter ~ and a unique coupling of butterflies with a woman's kiss. I like the gentle, loving nature of this poem.

I love your poem, Peter...
comparing the woman's kiss to the gentle buttelrfly's touch...it's so lovely...so beautiful...
feel as a butterfly touched my soul... :D :D
thanks...

Ah, Peter :D

What a romantic poet of the Heart you are!
You do realize you are going to have all the ladies' hearts fluttering like butterflies around here, if you keep this up, don't you? ;)

Gorgeous poem. Perfect! 8)

Well Makera, actually I have just bought myself a very huge net. It was on sale, so I bought it without having any specific clue why. Now I have.

If any of my texts could capture a lady, I would set her free, and hunt her, and set her free, and maybe by my hunting, she would be free in air.

Iubita, actually a man should not try to compare a womans kiss with anything, to compare you have to be at a distance, Im lost in the world.

Lizzy, my loving nature is walking the forests, in the darker section he knows no grief, in the brighter sections he kneels by her lake, on the field in the middle he rest and touch the soft ground and is joy.

My hateful nature, sings to moon as it rises, my hateful nature watches the fall of the heart, my hateful nature wants to drown in the sea, but is eaten by the monster. My hateful nature weeps

Hi Peter ~

That was an unexpectedly poetic response from you. Thanks. You're so right with the duality of our natures.
